How does social context shape the way we perceive others, learn, and make decisions — from preschool to adulthood? That question runs through my research, at the crossroads of developmental, social, and cognitive psychology.

As an Assistant Professor at Université Clermont Auvergne (LAPSCO, UMR CNRS 6024), I study sociocognitive processes through their development in young children, as well as their expressions in adults, along two complementary lines of research.

The first focuses on the development of identity and intergroup attitudes in young children: social categorization, the construction of bi- or multicultural identity, intergroup attitudes and behaviors, understanding of social power and inequality, ostracism and prosocial behavior, and selective attention and trust.

The second explores intergroup relations and discrimination in medical settings, particularly the doctor-patient relationship and bias in pain evaluation, from an intersectional perspective crossing ethnicity, gender, and social class.
